Yoana Land joins Scent Beauty as CFO after L’Oréal role
As Scent Beauty pushes toward ambitious global expansion, the company has made a strategic move to bolster its executive team with a powerhouse of financial expertise. They have appointed Yoana Land as the new Chief Financial Officer, a move designed to fuel the growth of their multi-brand fragrance portfolio.
Land brings a wealth of experience that is perfectly suited for scaling a dynamic beauty enterprise. With over 25 years navigating the complex landscapes of beauty, consumer businesses, and private equity, her track record is extensive. She spent a significant decade at L’Oréal, where she held senior financial leadership roles across both North America and Asia, gaining deep insight into international beauty markets and digital commerce strategy.
Her career highlights include serving as the North Asia Zone CFO, the Digital & Ecommerce CFO, and the CFO of L’Oréal’s North America Transformation Office. Beyond the corporate world, Land has also advised high-growth ventures, serving as a CFO advisor to various portfolio companies within Warburg.
Now, at Scent Beauty, Land will oversee the financial strategy and operational capabilities alongside Co-Founder and CEO Stephen Mormoris. This partnership aims to ensure that the company’s ambitious growth is supported by robust financial planning and operational excellence.
This strategic infusion of expertise arrives at a pivotal time for the brand. Scent Beauty is currently expanding its portfolio, including exciting fragrance lines such as Sweet Tooth by Sabrina Carpenter, Calliope by Megan Moroney, and Untamed by Stetson. To manage this scaling successfully, the leadership needed is sharp, forward-thinking, and globally aware.
By bringing her deep knowledge of international beauty markets, digital commerce, and successful business transformation to the table, Land is set to guide Scent Beauty into its next phase of international growth, ensuring that its creative vision is matched by sound financial strategy.
