Olive Tree People opens LA’s first US Flagship
The pursuit of waterless beauty has found a stunning new home in Venice, California, as OLIVE TREE PEOPLE has unveiled its first-ever US flagship store on Abbot Kinney Boulevard.
This isn’t just a retail space; it’s a dedicated destination that transforms the concept of beauty, anchoring the company’s innovative waterless beauty portfolio in a breathtaking physical reality.
The design itself is a testament to the brand’s ethos. Crafted by New York architect Jeremy Barbour of Tacklebox Architecture, the flagship embodies the founder Thomas Lommel’s vision of “From Tree to Beauty.” The space utilizes striking rammed-earth installations, integrating unique soil sourced from both Spain and Los Angeles to create a grounded, organic atmosphere.
Sculptural olive trees are featured prominently throughout the space, adding a living, natural element that seamlessly blends the products with the environment.
Beyond the physical space, the experience is elevated by immersive installations that deepen the connection between nature and the consumer. A highlight is the “Olive re:connect” installation, an immersive experience that translates live biofeedback from an olive tree in Spain into unique soundscapes right at the store.
Inside the flagship, visitors can explore the full range of brands, including OLIVEDA, LA DOPE, OLIVE ROSE, OLIVE MUSH, and IS THAT MATTY?. This retail environment is designed to facilitate not only product discovery but also personalized skincare rituals and expert consultations.
The opening of this location marks a significant milestone for OLIVE TREE PEOPLE, providing the company with its first permanent US retail showcase. It establishes a physical platform where the philosophy of waterless beauty and the unique power of botanical ingredients can be experienced under one roof.
