I love when fragrance houses stop simply making perfumes and start crafting experiences. That thrill of seeing formulators like those at Loewe Parfums look at their lineup and decide, “Let’s do more,” is incredibly motivating. That is exactly the spirit behind their Crafted Collection, and as a fragrance enthusiast, I am absolutely thrilled by the evolution.

The collection, launched in 2025, began with three signature scents: Oud”>Oud, Vanilla”>Vanilla, and Iris Root”>Iris Root. But this is just the beginning. The extended collection now features five new additions, all built upon the collection’s signature approach: respecting the integrity of classic ingredients and redefining them with a truly contemporary touch.

The philosophy driving this collection is rooted in true artisanship. Loewe’s Perfumer, Nuria Cruelles, emphasizes that their work is about working with ingredients, crafting them like an artisan. This dedication is visible in every detail, from the traditional hand-blown glass bottles to the granite caps. Each scent carries the brand’s distinctive accord, inspired by the ambery, resinous scent of the Rockrose wildflower, which thrives across the Iberian Peninsula.

While I hold a deep affection for the original lineup—particularly Iris Root”>Iris Root—the new five scents have provided a delightful opportunity to explore new territory. They invite a nuanced journey through the essence of the collection.

Among the newest additions, Field Diary”>Field Diary immediately captures the feeling of a lush wildflower meadow. It blends green mandarin, blood, lychee, and orange blossom, anchored by sandalwood and musk. The resulting scent is clean and sweet, effortlessly balancing a soapy freshness with a deep, musky skin scent that makes it incredibly versatile.

Then there is Rosetopia”>Rosetopia, designed to evoke a rose garden in full bloom. This fragrance features damascene rose, grapefruit, pink pepper, peony, and lily of the valley, warmed by amber and amber musk. It’s a perfect sensory experience, reminiscent of dewy rose petals and warm skin musk, ideal for any clean-girl routine.

For those seeking something effortlessly atmospheric, Smoky Rain”>Smoky Rain is a masterclass in understated mood. Although it contains no obvious aquatic notes, the opening of bergamot and pink pepper captures the crispness of air just before a drizzle. A subtle incense note weaves in a smoky element before settling into a balanced base of patchouli, wood, and white musk, making it a perfect, unisex fall fragrance.

The collection continues with contrasting harmonies, such as Verdant Grove”>Verdant Grove, which artfully combines the fresh notes of pistachio and iris. Far from being a cloying gourmand, Loewe has expertly reconstructed this olfactive palette. The nutty notes pair beautifully with bergamot, giving way to iris and orange blossom before settling into a cool-girl-coded base of vanilla, cedarwood, and musk.

And finally, Sweet Woodland”>Sweet Woodland proves that ginger can be anything but spicy. This perfume takes the fresh, fizzy qualities of ginger and marries them with rose, mandarin, and orange blossom, keeping the effervescent traits bright. A touch of cognac adds a delightful syrupy warmth, perfectly balancing the patchouli, wood, and vanilla base notes for a deeply intriguing experience.

The Crafted Collection is more than just a series of fragrances; it is a testament to how exquisite craft and contemporary vision can merge, offering something truly unique for every mood and moment.
