Hailey Bieber’s French Show Makeup Haul
There is a certain aesthetic that has captured the internet’s imagination lately: the luminous, naturally glowing complexion perfected under soft, flattering studio lights. This trend, often dubbed the \”French show with the good lighting,\” has become a cultural obsession, drawing attention to the masterful blend of skincare and makeup that defines a flawless, fresh-faced look.
At the heart of this fascination is the star, Hailey Bieber, who recently brought this luminous energy to the spotlight during an appearance on the talk show Quotidien. Her presence, especially in the context of promoting her skincare line, Rhode, provided a perfect example of how sophisticated beauty can be achieved with radiant skin.
The secret to this ethereal glow, as often is the case in high-level beauty, lies not just in the lighting but in the meticulous preparation. Makeup artist Diane Buzzetta, known for her expertise in creating flawless, luminous looks for major stars, unveiled the exact regimen that created Bieber’s stunning complexion. It turns out that achieving this coveted effect requires building a strong, hydrated foundation before any color is applied.
The skincare routine began with Rhode’s innovative products, designed to boost hydration and plumpness. Buzzetta started with the Rhode Glazing Mist, a face mist packed with active ingredients like ectoin, ceramides, and antioxidant-rich magnolia extract. This was followed by the Rhode Glazing Milk, a milky toner rich in ceramides and vitamin E, which worked to smooth and plump the skin.
To further enhance this base, the routine included the Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid for soothing hydration and brightening, and the Barrier Restore Cream, which delivered shea butter, peptides, and hyaluronic acid to strengthen and moisturize the skin.
For the complexion itself, Buzzetta opted for a natural, perfected finish. She used the m.ph by Mary Phillips Underpainting Face Highlight & Contour Palette to expertly correct and sculpt the face before foundation. This was followed by the application of Mary Phillips’ Le Skin Weightless Serum Foundation, which provided medium coverage with a fresh, natural finish.
To give the skin a subtle sun-kissed dimension, Rhode’s Pocket Bronze in Sunbed was used. The final luminosity was achieved with Rhode’s Highlight Milk in 03, which delivered that sought-after, viral glow. The overall look was finished with the ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder in Baby Pink, ensuring a smooth, perfected base.
Even the details were refined. For the eyes, Buzzetta employed MAKEUP BY MARIO’s Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadow in Taupe to create dimension that resists sweat and humidity. The definition was completed with the Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara, offering fluttery, voluminous definition.
The lips were treated with equal care, starting with Rhode’s Peptide Lip Shape in Twist to define the pout. The look was sealed with the VIOLETTE Bisou Balm Sheer Matte Lipstick in Betise, providing a soft flush of color and that coveted, perfectly blurred, \”bitten lips\” effect.
