Eurazeo invests €410M in Aroma-Zone expansion

The journey of a beloved direct-to-consumer beauty brand is about to get a major international upgrade. The French natural beauty and wellness company, Aroma-Zone, has secured a significant investment deal, setting the stage for rapid global expansion.

Private equity group Eurazeo has signed an exclusivity agreement to inject approximately EUR410 million into Aroma-Zone. This landmark deal positions Eurazeo as the main shareholder, bringing world-class expertise in consumer goods and digital commerce to one of Europe’s most charming online beauty platforms.

Aroma-Zone, established in 1999, has successfully built a vibrant community centered around natural beauty, aromatherapy, and DIY products. Operating on a successful direct-to-consumer model, the company offers an impressive catalog of over 1,900 products and serves more than two million customers annually. While the digital storefront drives much of its success, Aroma-Zone also complements its online presence with seven physical stores across France.

The vision for the future is ambitious. The investment is specifically designed to fuel the next phase of growth, focusing on transforming Aroma-Zone from a successful French digital business into a truly international, omnichannel beauty player. This strategic infusion of capital will drive ambitious plans for global expansion, further developing the French e-commerce platform, and opening new physical store locations worldwide.

Eurazeo’s involvement is more than just financial; it brings a powerful international network and deep expertise in scaling consumer businesses digitally. By combining Aroma-Zone‘s established customer loyalty and digital prowess with Eurazeo’s global reach, the company is poised to unlock massive new growth opportunities in the competitive global beauty market.
