Estée Lauder brand leadership change after Sandra Main retires

A New Era for Estée Lauder: Leadership Shifts Set to Ignite Luxury Growth

The world of luxury beauty is buzzing with change as the Estée Lauder Companies announces a significant realignment of its senior brand leadership. This strategic reshuffle occurs as the company prepares for the retirement of Sandra Main, who has served as the Global Brand President for La Mer and its Skin Care Brands.

These appointments are designed not just to fill vacancies, but to consolidate powerful leadership across the company’s expansive luxury portfolio, ensuring that innovation and growth accelerate across the prestige skincare, makeup, and fragrance segments.

At the helm of this new structure is Justin Boxford, who steps into the highly influential role of Global President, Luxury Beauty Brands. In this expanded capacity, Boxford will oversee a diverse range of iconic brands, including La Mer, Estée Lauder, AERIN, Darphin Paris, and the Lab Series.

To anchor the core operations, Erica Kwok has been named Senior Vice President and General Manager of the flagship Estée Lauder brand. Kwok brings a wealth of experience, having spent fifteen years with the brand and most recently steering crucial divisions in marketing, product development, and global growth.

Further reinforcing the brand’s identity, Magalie Parksuwan remains in a pivotal role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of La Mer. Parksuwan will now report directly to Boxford, providing strategic oversight while continuing to manage the legacy and future of La Mer, along with the Darphin Paris and Lab Series lines.

This internal promotion strategy signals Estée Lauder’s commitment to fostering internal talent. By bringing together seasoned executives from within, the company aims to strengthen coordination and accelerate the innovation needed to drive the next phase of growth across its glittering portfolio.
